At My Home photo contest

A new contest has been announced that has special meaning for me, the “At My Home” photo contest put together by Udi at DIYPhotography.net. Imagine a beautiful, professionally illustrated coffee table book filled with images on the theme of “America at Home”. As a young photographer, I was influenced by the work of a photojournalist named Rick Smolan. He pulled together the world’s greatest photojournalists to create the “Day In The Life…” book series. The amazing quality of photography in these books has helped shape the way we look at the world and the way we view photography. Rick is also the creator of “America at Home” so I have a special interest in this project. When Udi asked me to help judge the contest entries, I didn’t hesitate to accept.
